North Korea has launched three “ballistic missiles of unknown type” to the east, the sea area called the Korean Sea on the Korean Peninsula and the Sea of Japan in Tokyo, the US General Staff said in Seoul. The missile tests were recorded even though Pyongyang has been facing – officially since May 12 – an outbreak of the new coronavirus pandemic. The government of North Korea, a country where the population has not been vaccinated against COVID-19, has not even responded to offers from the United States and South Korea to help.
