The famous actor left his last breath today, Thursday, at the age of 67 Ray Liota.
According to reports in the American media, the famous protagonist died while sleeping, at his home in the Dominican Republic.
The news of his death shocked Hollywood and not only, as he had a very large fan club, while he had starred in many productions and great successes.
Ray Liotta, Newark, New Jersey, December 18, 1954 – May 26, 2022A graduate of the University of Miami School of Acting, Liota first distinguished himself by appearing in television series, such as the series “Intensive Care”, receiving an Emmy Award and a Prism. Subsequently, he engaged in cinema, receiving excellent reviews for his role in Jonathan Demi’s film “Wild Female” (1986). However, his performance in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 play “Goodfellas”, in which he played Henry Hill, was what brought him to the world’s attention.
He was an artist with a wide range of roles, both comic and dramatic. In 2004 he made his Broadway debut in the play “Match”, while at the same time, he was honored with the award of the 70th annual Drama League award. He was also nominated for a Screen Actors Award, after appearing as Frank Sinatra in the TV movie “The Rat Pack” (1998).
Liota was married to the also actress Michelle Grace from 1997 to 2004. He was engaged to Jesse Nitolo, and had a daughter from his marriage to Michelle Grace.
