The eerie video shows the moment the two boys were seconds before the train collided, but were able to run off the road.

In Toronto, another boy was chained to a fence at the end of the bridge after breaking through the train tracks.

Fortunately, the three children were not seriously injured in the dangerous incident.

However, the transportation manager has released the images as a warning of possible copies.

The Miltonline GO team found the boy on the bridge as he approached the overpass over the Humber River at Etobicock, just west of Danda Street.

The train was running “closely” until police observed the other two students running on the rails “as if they were about to get off the train.”

Tragedy was barely averted when the trumpet sounded and the emergency brakes hit.

Metrolinx, the government agency that manages highways and public transportation in Ontario, said:

Employees applied an emergency brake when they saw two children running (Photo: Metrolinx).

“Such incidents are often tragic and life-changing, not only for loved ones, but also for the crew and first responders involved.”

The children fled as the crew began to recover to reload the train.

Metrolinx executives reached out and contacted her parents.

Steve Weir, Metrolinx Consumer Protection Manager, said:

Other parents were asked to take the opportunity to talk to their children about the dangers of walking and playing on the train tracks.
