Experts warn North Korea’s first nuclear test will take place five years after diplomatic efforts failed.

The United States, along with South Korea and Japan’s allies, is preparing for all the unexpected, as Kim Jong Un is likely to announce his readiness to hold the exam in the near future.

Attempts to set up a test site in the northeastern part of the country have been uncovered by experts for months.

In April, the Supreme Leader warned: “We will take steps to strengthen and develop our nuclear capabilities at the fastest possible pace.”

If the nuclear test was the green light, it was the seventh time since 2006, and since September 2017 it has tried to drop a thermonuclear bomb on an ICBM.

North Korea’s US special representative Sung Kim attended a trilateral meeting between South Korean and Japanese counterparts in Seoul to discuss the growing threat to North Korea’s weapons program.

In a new comment this week, he said: “The United States estimates that North Korea is preparing for its seventh nuclear test, Punggye-ri.

“This rating is consistent with a recent official statement from North Korea.”

Washington said: “If necessary, we will adjust our short-term and long-term military posture, respond to North Korean provocations, and, if necessary, strengthen our defense and containment capabilities to protect our regional allies.” Additional.

At Funako, Japan’s Asia-Pacific Secretary Ken Tomiyasu said the test emphasized the need for a stronger international response and raised concerns about inaction by the UN Security Council.

This was after North Korea launched its 17th weapons test last month in 2022.

Apparently it was the farewell to US President Joe Biden, who left Asia a few hours ago.

The last moment of the US leaders’ visit also saw the flight of Russian and Chinese atomic bombers in a joint military exercise between Japan and South Korea’s air defense identification zone.

Nuclear talks between Washington and Pyongyang have stalled over disagreements over lifting the disastrous US sanctions imposed on North Korea in 2019 and steps to disarm North Korea.

The recent launch has been accused by the South Korean authorities as a “serious provocation”.

But Russia and China vetoed a US-sponsored resolution last week that would impose additional sanctions on the country.

However, the United States and South Korea have offered to send a covid vaccine to North Korea because the country is experiencing a significant increase in suspected cases.

There was no response from Jung Eun, but the World Health Organization said it suggested the situation was “worse not better.”

“I am concerned about how the epidemic will affect the North Korean people, the economy and the already dire food situation,” Kim said.
