Ukraine: Luhansk will soon start sending “liberated” wheat to Russia

The “agriculture minister” of the self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Luhansk said that so far they had been sending relatively small quantities of wheat by truck.

One of its two breakaway provinces of eastern Ukraine supported by Moscow announced today that it will soon begin shipping by rail to Russia Wheat which were “liberated” by its forces.

According to Tass, the silos in the “liberated part” of Luhansk contained about 300,000 tons of winter wheat and 200,000 tons of sunflower seeds left over from previous harvests. Pronko said that the silos were half full and in order to empty them so that the next harvest could be stored there, 120-130 grain wagons would have to be exported daily.
