Folha closes content partnership with portal that analyzes international relations

by

THE Sheet closed a partnership with the website Interesse Nacional for the republication of content. The portal created by Irice (Institute of International Relations and Foreign Trade) aims to discuss Brazil’s relations with the rest of the world and give visibility to international issues that impact the country’s interests, especially in the areas of politics, trade and the environment. .

Coordinated by Ambassador Rubens Barbosa, former representative of Brazil in the United States, and edited by journalist Daniel Buarque, the National Interest seeks to combine academic depth with a language closer to journalism.

The portal created, for example, an index that measures the external perception of Brazil, based on reports about the country published in foreign newspapers.

“We will offer content in the form of articles and analyses, in addition to interviews with academics, diplomats and specialists in international politics or foreign trade. All of this with curatorship and journalistic editing, based on criteria of relevance, clarity and media appeal”, says Barbosa. .

The National Interest team sees in the partnership with Sheet an opportunity to contribute to the public debate and spread knowledge. “We are guided by the principle that a healthy democracy is achieved with quality information, based on facts and evidence”, completes the ambassador.

The portal (interessenacional.com) produces content daily about current international events. For the next few days, for example, one of the topics to be addressed is the second round of the presidential election in Colombia, to be held next Sunday (19) between the leftist Gustavo Petro and the populist Rodolfo Hernández.

The site was born from the 14-year editorial experience of the homonymous magazine, which publishes articles on the recent history of Brazil, reflecting on the most varied political crises, corruption scandals, the country’s low growth, the competitiveness of the industry and the environment, among other themes.

Contents such as the magazine’s collection can be found on the portal, as well as a newsletter with a summary of the week’s highlights and cultural tips, with reviews of books, films and other forms of entertainment that involve topics related to international politics and foreign trade.
