Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his “gratitude” to the Americans for providing additional military assistance, which was announced to him by telephone by his American counterpart Joe Biden.
“The United States has announced a new boost to our defense, a new $ 1 billion bailout,” Zelensky said in a video message.
“I want to express my gratitude for this support, it is very important for our defense in Donbass”, the region of eastern Ukraine, the focus of the current Russian attacks.
