A “loving” young woman, 22, who was the guardian of her sister who lost her parents, was killed in a car accident.
Eli Birchal was praised for “protecting my brother Amy from the bottom of my heart”.
His devastated family said they had “no words to really understand the cruelty of the situation.”
Alice, who was about to start her dream job after graduating from college, was seriously injured in a crash between a gray Nissan Juke and a gray Audi RS Q3 she was driving on June 18.
He died in a Leeds hospital after an incident in Manston Lane at around 8:43 p.m.
A 34-year-old man driving an Audi and an 8-year-old girl in a car remain hospitalized after being seriously injured.
In a statement, Alice’s relatives called her “the most compassionate and caring young woman you would ever want to meet.”
“The death of both mother and father at a young age means that Alice soon matured and became her sister Emmy’s guardian,” the statement said.
“He wholeheartedly defended Emmy and took care of her.”

Alice’s life finally came together, she got a degree in history, graduated from college and landed her dream job of beautiful jewelry, which starts in two weeks.
Alice was happier than ever, the whole future was in front of her.
The incident destroyed Amy’s guardian, especially since she lost her best friend.
“The whole family was shocked and there are no words to really understand the cruelty of the situation. Alice was more valuable than her.”
West Yorkshire Police are investigating a car accident and calling for witnesses to come forward.
In particular, they want to know about the car cameras and home CCTV showing the gray Audi RS Q3 on the roads along Whitker Cranes, Austhorpe Plains and Manston Lane.
The car was headed toward William Henry Perkinway and Spring Retail Park around 8:35 p.m.
