Volodymyr Zelensky warned that G7 leaders urgently need to send more military supplies to Ukraine if they want to be “partners, not observers.”

Ukraine’s president addressed Boris Johnson and his counterparts from the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Germany and Italy after meeting at the luxurious Bavarian alpine resort of Schloss Elmau.

He spoke directly to them via video link from his bunker in kyiv, but before he left he said he had requested a new defense system and was accelerating previously agreed shipments. ..

This was after Putin’s army began firing rockets in Kieu’s direction for the first time in recent weeks, stepping up shelling of cities in eastern Ukraine.

“We need a strong (modern and fully effective) air defense that can provide complete protection against these missiles.

“We are discussing this with our partners every day, we already have some agreements.

If the partner is really a partner and not an observer, the partner needs to act faster.

“By delaying the transfer of weapons to our state, any restrictions actually invite Russia to strike again and again.

“The occupiers, these terrorists, must be defeated with all their might so that they don’t expect them to push and hit somebody.”

Your call was confirmed by Mr. Johnson. Johnson argued that the G7 had come together to support Ukraine amid growing “fatigue” around the world, stressing the need to help defeat Russia’s grain blockade.

While many countries depend on agriculture from Ukraine, one of the world’s largest grain exporters, Putin’s navy has prevented ships from leaving Ukrainian ports and his army is a local farmer. He is reported to steal crops from the Ukraine and sell them to Russia.

“I think the whole world came to Germany for the G7. I have heard a lot about the fatigue in Ukraine, the anxiety in other countries of the world about the continuation of the war, the prices of food and energy…

“And what really surprised me in the last two days was the amazing consistency of our decisions, the enduring unification of the G7.”

He promised მილი 10 million to repair Ukraine’s war-torn railway, established an overland route for grain exports, and conducted tests to determine whether grain sold by Russia came from Ukrainian farmers. He wanted to establish 1.5 million for the process.

Meanwhile, officials at 10 Downing Street played down reports of diplomatic breakups with France after French President Emmanuel Macron was told he could end the conflict sooner at Ukraine’s expense.

Macron repeatedly met with Putin and warned that no peace deal should be “humiliated” by Russia.

“The logic of the position remains so clear that President Zelensky really can’t come to an agreement,” Johnson said, so the G7 leaders have come together.

He admitted that the Ukrainian army was facing a “very difficult” situation, but showed “incredible ability to withdraw”.
