Three people died when a passenger train derailed in the United States.
Amtrak services were moving from Los Angeles to Chicago when the truck collided with an “uncontrolled” intersection in the Missouri countryside.
Two people died on the train and one on the truck.
According to Amtrak, the train, called the Southwest Chief, was carrying 243 passengers and 12 crew members at the time of the collision.
After the attack, survivors said: “It all started in slow motion.”
People were forced to climb through broken windows to get rid of derailed cars.
They were sitting on the grass in the photo waiting for an ambulance.
A helicopter was mobilized to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Passenger Robert Nightingale was asleep before the accident.
“It all started in slow motion,” he told CNN.
“It started shaking… and it blinked, and all of a sudden, all this dust was on my window.
“We were all shocked.”
On board was a group of two adult explorers, 16 youngsters and two soldiers.
Scott Armstrong, national media director for the American Scouts, said the group courageously provided first aid to several injured passengers, including truck drivers.
Students from Pleasant Ridge High School in Kansas, Easton were also riding the train.
A fatal collision occurred at the intersection of a gravel road town where the weapons did not intersect.
The 911 phone call about the collision rang at 12:43 pm and rescuers arrived within 20 minutes.
Six medical helicopters parked nearby were waiting for the patient to be transported.
As many as 20 local and state law enforcement agencies, ambulance services, firefighters and medical services have responded.
Missouri highway patrols have identified multiple injuries, but have not identified a few.
A helicopter video from the KMBC-TV site in Kansas City showed a rail car lying on its side as the ambulance crew climbed into one using the ladders.
An Amtrak spokesman said: Passengers and crew on the train were also injured.

The Southwest Chief takes about two days to travel from Los Angeles to Chicago.
It crashed near Mendon, a town of about 160, 84 miles northeast of Kansas City.
