Gislene Maxwell Sentenced: Women Permanently Arrested in Her Passage, Prosecutors Say

by

“In her passage, Maxwell left her victims permanently trapped with emotional and psychological trauma,” prosecutors wrote in the sentencing decision.

Enforcement conviction for Gislein Maxwell which was sentenced on December 29 for five offenses, including trafficking in young victims of sexual abuse, after a month-long trial is expected today.

Maxwell, in particular, is accused of “feeding” Jeffrey Epstein for ten consecutive years and during their relationship with minor victims for a decade, with her conviction prompting many women to speak openly about their martyrdom.

Federal prosecutors have asked a judge to sentence Maxwell, 61, to at least 30 years in prison for her role in trafficking women to Epstein’s home in Palm Beach, Florida.

According to the Washigton Post, a number of young girls were abused at the Manhattan mansion, his ranch in New Mexico and his private island in the Caribbean from 1994 to 2004.

«In the process, Maxwell left her victims permanently traumatized by emotional and psychological trauma.“, Wrote the prosecutors in their sentence on June 22. “This damage can never be remedied, but it can be the occasion to be brought to justice by imposing a fair punishment for its crimes.”

It is shocking that in new testimonies that have seen the light of day, Maxwell is described as a “predator”, with her crimes being described as “monstrous”.

Citing a “difficult, traumatic childhood” with an authoritarian father, Maxwell’s lawyers say she was “vulnerable” to Epstein and that meeting him was “the biggest mistake she made in her life”. Her lawyers say she should not spend more than four or five years in prison, citing “indecent” behavior and poor detention conditions.

However, prosecutors said allegations of poor detention were not a reason to reduce her sentence, adding that she “enjoyed remarkable privileges as a detainee so far”. So, from the lavish life in London and the trips of private jets with Jeffrey Epstein, Gislein Maxwell, it seems, will serve at least 30 years in prison for her “horrible” crimes.
