One Korean Air aircraftwhich had departed from Istanbul bound for the city of Incheon, South Korea, carried out forced landing in the capital of Azerbaijan due to damage to one of its engines, as the Korean airline announced today.
The Airbus A330, with 215 passengers and 10 crew memberslanded at Baku International Airport about an hour and a half after taking off from Istanbul at 18:25 (local time) yesterday Saturday.

The plane landed safely in Baku, without any injuries. The passengers spent the night in a hotel in the capital of Azerbaijan and, as announced by Korean Air, they will depart in the morning on another flight to their destination.
