Ukraine’s Emergency Service said 24 people, including a child, may still be under the rubble
The death toll from the Russian missile attack on an apartment building in the city of Chasiv Yar, in the Donetsk region, has risen to 15.
The State Emergency Service reported that since yesterday afternoon, 15 dead people have been recovered and five people have been rescued from the ruins of the apartment building.
“There is contact with three people under the rubble, measures are being taken to rescue them,” the Ukrainian service said.
“According to preliminary information, 24 people, including a child, may still be under the ruins” said the emergency service.

The governor Pavlos Kirilenko reported on Telegram that the strike was launched on Saturday night targeting a high-rise residential building.
34 people are under the rubble of a 5-story building in Chasovom Yar, which the Russians attacked with Uragan missiles.
Completely destroyed two entrances. Rescuers are on site.

AFP journalists who arrived at the scene saw the building partially collapsed and rescue workers with a bulldozer trying to remove the debris.
According to him, 591 civilians have been killed and 1,548 injured so far in Donetsk province since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.
