The dire gulls are famous for stealing tokens from many UK beaches and seaside towns.

However, this menu from Big Bird in St. Helier, Jersey, did not include a tip.

Stunned, Cameron Magwire didn’t know if the doves were dead or alive, as the seagulls flew away with them dangling from the beads.

“I’ve seen seagulls attack pigeons, so I’m not surprised if they kill them,” Cameron said.

Cameron believes that seagulls are misunderstood and are actually good.

He added: “Sometimes they think they are pests. They make a ruckus at any time of the day or night. They break garbage bags, leave confusion and ask for food.

“Believe it or not, I’ve seen a fake dragger get someone’s sandwich. This is a nice cheeky piece.

“But they’re not bad. They’re just misunderstood and just trying to survive.”

This is not the first time a seagull has bravely demonstrated greedy behavior.

One recently bombed an elderly undocumented couple in Dorset and stole a tip while sitting by the sea.

The woman did not see the approaching bird and paused for a moment with a large spike in her hand.

He immediately took a tip and flew away before I could do anything.
