For her daughter’s partner who was injured in the face, both arms and stomach, she said: “He’s hoping to come home from hospital soon but he’s still in a lot of pain. He knows Joanna is gone and is absolutely devastated as we all are. We will miss him so much. And he had a horrible ordeal. He lost his partner of 20 years. And he also lost his dogs.”
