Conservative Party MPs are called to cast their vote on the four candidates who continue to contend for the Prime Ministership of the United Kingdom at noon in the fourth round of the process.

Voting takes place from 12 noon local until 2 pm, with the result announced an hour later.

The trio of candidates that emerges after the last one is voted out will be put to a new, final vote among Conservative MPs on Wednesday.

The final pair will spend the rest of the summer campaigning for the votes of up to 200,000 Conservative Party members who will elect the next Tory leader and Prime Minister on September 5.

After the vote of the deputies on Monday, the first is Rishi Sunak with 115 votes, followed by Penny Mordant with 82, the Liz Truss with 71 and the Kemi Bedenock with 58.

Tom Tugenhut was sent off, whose 31 votes are claimed today by the four remaining candidates. It is thought that these votes will be split mainly between Mr Sunak and Ms Mordant. Most likely to be ruled out today is Ms Baidenock, who nevertheless threatens Ms Truss with the unexpected momentum she has developed within the far-right Tory parliamentary wing.
