In the video, Johnson explains that he has met some of the 400 Ukrainian soldiers training at the base. “I just want you to know that the people of the UK support the people of Ukraine and support you in your fight,” he says in the video. “And I am absolutely convinced that you can win and that you will win».
Boris Johnson has said he hopes to help from his side in Putin’s diabolical attack on Ukraine. He said he knows that in the end the Ukrainian people will succeed and that he is proud of the role the UK has been able to play so far.
