Police found four families dead around 6:30 pm Wednesday in response to a welfare check request at a home on Will Street, Danbury, Connecticut. The children’s bodies were at home and the mother’s bodies were in the shack in the backyard.
“The children appear to have died of strangulation, and the mother’s presumed cause of death is strangulation suffocation,” Detective Mark Williams said.

Roya and her children lived at home with two other adults who were not there when police responded to the scene.
The body was found by a man crying and upset.
His autopsy was scheduled for Thursday morning.
