According to Reuters, the US Air Force plane that brought Nancy Pelosi to Malaysia left the country a few hours ago and flew near the Philippines.
Reuters could not confirm whether Pelosi or her delegation was on the SPAR19 flight, but Philippine authorities said there was no US request to land or transit.
The plane left Kuala Lumpur at 3:42 p.m. (0742 GMT) and flew east to Borneo.
It was last seen off the southernmost region of the Philippines flying along the eastern Pacific coast.
Pelosi is expected in Taipei later today, sources said earlier.
