In the past days, the drilling rig left the port of Tasuku for tests and with a message on Twitter, the Turkish Minister of Energy, Fatih Donmez, confirmed that it is ready for research after completing the tests of the drilling systems, navigation and all its equipment.
“Turkey’s fourth drilling rig is a state-of-the-art 7th generation rig and has the ability to drill at a depth of more than 12 kilometers,” he said.
