The seventh-generation rig, whose price is approaching $200 million, will drill off Antalya until Oct. 7, but no one knows what area it will move to next.

The Turkish drilling rig Abdulhamid Khan started its first drilling at the Yorukler-1 well, Turkey’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister announced on Wednesday, Fatih Domez.
“With the sweat of our engineers and the prayers of our nation, may the fortune of our ship be good and its drilling fruitful,” the Turkish minister said on Twitter.

The seventh-generation drilling rig, whose price is approaching $200 million, will drill offshore Antalya until October 7, but no one knows what area it will move to next.

Greece is “concerned” after the departure of Abdulhamid Khan for research in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Tayyip Erdogan.

However, it is noted that Erdogan’s statements come in the wake of “complaining” from a part of the military establishment that favors the “Blue Homeland” theory and seem to be made for internal consumption.
