Five people have been taken to hospital after being bitten by a ferocious dog in Cheshire.

The victim attempted to control the Rottweiler in Luton Park, Ellesmere Harbor and sustained minor injuries as a result.

All attended the Countess of Chester for treatment while the dogs were captured and placed in a secure mount.

A spokesperson for the Cheshire Police Department said:

Officers arrived on scene to find the Rottweiler out of control and out of control.

“In this incident, five people were bitten while trying to control the dog. All suffered minor injuries and were taken to Countess of Chester Hospital for treatment.

The dog was later captured by the police and is now in a secure kennel. “

This follows a series of other reported dog attacks in the UK in recent weeks.

Last month in Hampshire, a 3-year-old boy was bitten by a dog and his life was changed.

A 12-year-old boy from a Cornish country house needed surgery after a large dog attacked his family’s kakapo and kept him within the family.

Two days later, in the same county, a dog attacked and killed a man, and a mother and two children were injured in another dog attack.

This comes after a victim who was “chewed like a piece of meat” in Lancashire called for the breed of dog that attacked him to be banned from the UK.
