A 19-year-old girl beaten by a crazed mob said the attack had affected her mental health.
Chloe Miller was walking to the store when her mother and sister were accidentally attacked.
A 19-year-old was attacked by a large mob that looted a store last Saturday night.
Police dispersed the crowd and the teenager was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Recalling the ordeal, Chloe told MyLondon: At the end of the day, I was beaten, punched, kicked and my phone was stolen.
“They kept hitting me, kicking and hitting me, like 20 people threw themselves at me.
I remember someone yelling, “Take his phone, take his vaporizer.”
“I was rushed to hospital with severe bruising to my ribs, a concussion and multiple bruises all over my body with black spots around my eyes.
“When the police arrived, they all spread out, called an ambulance and told me they were doing a full investigation.
Many of them were wearing balaclavas and masks, so I didn’t know who they were.
He continues: London is becoming a very bad place.
“I can’t go out now. I had to call my doctor and change my medications. It affected me a lot.
“Of course I can’t go out tonight, not even in my city.”
A Met spokesperson said:
“Police were present and a 19-year-old female was reported to have been assaulted by another female.
“He was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
“An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances. No arrests have been made.
