A Russian commander of the occupied Ukrainian city of Berdyansk was maimed on Tuesday after a car bomb exploded.

Footage from Berdyansk showed the burning wreckage of the car said to belong to Bardin Artem Igorevich, the military commander appointed by Moscow to oversee the Russian-occupied city and surrounding area.
The severe explosion caused great damage in the center of the city, near the administration building.
Igorevich was taken to hospital and is in serious condition.
