London prepares to ‘receive’ Queen’s body – One million people on streets for funeral

The public pilgrimage to the British Parliament will start tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7pm Greek time and will end at 8:30am on the day of the funeral, Monday 19 September.

– On Monday afternoon, the body will be taken to be buried at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, where Prince Philip’s funeral was held.

– Downing Street has announced that next Sunday at 10pm, on the eve of the funeral, a minute’s silence will be observed across the country in memory of Queen Elizabeth.

– On Sunday night, King Charles III will host a reception for all the leaders who will come to watch the funeral procession.
