The artist was performing at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis when he suddenly fell through an opening in the stage causing his concert to be interrupted for a quarter.
After being treated, the rapper was able to continue the concert while repeatedly apologizing.
“At that point from my perspective, it looked like he collapsed on the stage, clutching the middle of his chest,” Cantrell said. “You could see in his face and body how much he was in pain and that’s when I knew it was serious. His legs were shaking from the pain,” said one of the concertgoers.
As it was later clarified, the “hole” in the stage is there at every one of his concerts for his acoustic guitar to go up, but this time it was left uncovered.
In a video that he later published from the hospital, he said that he is in good health.
