Earlier, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York emphasized that “I am always open to solving problems through dialogue, Mr. Erdogan does not want to talk to me.

According to the representative of the Turkish presidency, a meeting between Erdogan and Mitsotakis in Prague depends on Greece.

In particular, the representative of the Turkish presidency, essentially throwing the ball at Greece, said in an interview with NTV that the planning of a meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kyriakos Mitsotakis depends on the Greek Prime Minister.

As he pointed out, he does not know if there will be a meeting in Prague on October 6-7 as this depends on the steps taken by the Greek side and for now there are no scheduled meetings with the Greek Prime Minister.

“Our president does not exclude anyone. If one step is taken, our president takes two steps. Various messages are coming. We are looking into them. I cannot say from now whether the meeting will take place or not. We will see what steps will be taken until then. It depends on the steps taken by the Greek side. At the moment there are no scheduled meetings with Mitsotakis,” he said.

Earlier, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York emphasized that “I am always open to solving problems through dialogue, Mr. Erdogan does not want to talk to me. But I’ve heard it before and we ended up talking. I will continue to insist that there is only one framework of rules for dispute resolution, international law and the international law of the sea. But it doesn’t solve differences with aggressive behavior and the restoration of imperial fantasies, but also inflammatory rhetoric.”
