The Italian government is not changing course: the new measures for the implementation of the super green pass do not provide for flexibility and exceptions. “Anyone who thinks we will not be strict in enforcing the law has made a wrong assessment,” said Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgeze.
In the first two days of implementation of the “super pass” (which allows unvaccinated citizens to enter by test only in means of transport and workplaces) more than 200,000 checks were carried out and almost two thousand fines were imposed, which, according to the new decisions, range from 400 to 1000 euros.

The Draghi government, however, is also preparing for some changes: it is difficult to carry out continuous, sampling checks outside subway and bus stops. For this reason, the Italian Ministry of Transport announced that the ticket issuance system will be changed very soon. You can only buy them through an app if you have a QR vaccine or diagnostic test.
The reference point is the ski slopes in the Italian Alps, which you can now enter with a “ski pass” – only if you have a vaccination code.
Students are not excluded from the new line either. The use of “super green pass” for public transport has been extended to children and adolescents over 12 years of age. No postponements.

According to the media, this stricter response to the pandemic was deemed necessary due to the alarming increase in cases in northeastern Italy, mainly in the Veneto and Upper Adygea on the border with Austria.
