The tone was raised yesterday in the Turkish Parliament, with the accusations of the official opposition of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) for the Minister of Interior Suleiman Soilou.
The CHP parliamentary representative denounced Soilo’s relations with a well-known mobster (not the well-known mobster Sedat Packer) and showed a photo allegedly showing Erdogan’s minister getting on the mobster’s plane.

These reports provoked a strong reaction from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) MPs and the situation soon got out of control with the MPs holding hands and exchanging heavy words.

Deputies from President Erdogan’s party are in a difficult position as they receive many complaints in their cities and are constantly attacked by the opposition. It is characteristic that just the day before yesterday, Kemal Kilincaroglu, the leader of the official opposition, while talking about the situation in the Turkish economy, said to them, “are you not ashamed to support this government?”.
