The daughter of former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, who has been held in Tehran since late September, is accused of “propaganda” against the Islamic Republic, amid protests in Iran over her death. Mahsa Amini, the judicial authority announced today Tuesday.

According to a latest Iranian tally, dozens of people have died in the protests since September 16, including 18 members of the security forces.
