As reported by Guardias, according to the NSSthe US may have to deter two nuclear powers within the next 10 years, a first in history.
NSS is listed as an immediate threat to Russiawhich has invaded Ukraine and annexed territories of the country to its sovereignty and to Chinaas a more capable competitor in the long run.
In fact, the report notes that the risk of nuclear weapons may increase as long as Russia loses on the battlefield with Ukraine.
