Petro Vrubliovsky stated that we must “kill as many Russians as possible”

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed the Ukrainian ambassador from his duties in Kazakhstan Petro Vrubliovsky, who had recently stated that we should “kill as many Russians as possible.” This is stated in a decree published on the website of the presidential office.

On August 21, the Ukrainian ambassador Petro Vromliovsky in an interview with the blogger Diza Kuzyrov, referring to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, said that Ukraine is trying to “kill as many Russians as possible” and “the more we kill now, the less of ours.” they will kill us children”.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan had announced that he had spoken with Wroblovski on the occasion of his statements. The Russian side demanded the expulsion of Vrubliovsky from Kazakhstan, but Astana (the capital) announced that Vrubliovsky was leaving on leave. When it became known that Vrubliovsky was returning to Kazakhstan, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Kazakh ambassador to Moscow Yermek Koserbayev to protest. Then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan summoned the Russian ambassador Alexei Bordafkina on the occasion of the statements of the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, who called Vrubliovsky “an emissary of Bandera*” expressing her dissatisfaction with the return of the Ukrainian ambassador to Astana.

* Stepan Bandera was a Ukrainian political leader, ideologist and theoretician of Ukrainian nationalism, who is known for his and his organization’s collaboration with the Germans during World War II.
