The order to form a government from King Charles will be received this morning by the 57th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak.

At a quarter past 10 (12:15 Greek time) she will make a farewell statement outside Downing Street, before proceeding to Buckingham Palace to hand in her resignation to the king.
In the Palace will be found immediately after Mr. Sunak, who returning to Downing Street shortly after 11.30 (13:30 Greek time) will make the customary first statement as Prime Minister, setting the tone for the policy that will follow.
His first appearance in the House of Commons as leader of party and country is expected at midday on Wednesday during the weekly prime minister’s questions session.
