Zelensky: Doubts Russia’s Partial Conscription Complete – Denounces Looting of Hospitals by Russian Invaders

Ukrainian troops have massed on the outskirts of Kherson, in the southern part of the country, prompting Moscow-appointed officials to evict many residents.

Russian soldiers in occupied Kherson are engaging in mass theft of medical equipment and ambulances, in an attempt to make the area uninhabitable, complained yesterday Friday President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ukrainian troops have massed on the outskirts of Kherson, in the southern part of the country, prompting Moscow-appointed officials to evict many residents. Kherson is one of the four Ukrainian regions recently announced by the Russian Federation to be annexed.

“The occupiers decided to close medical facilities in the cities and seize medical equipment, ambulances, everything. They are putting pressure on the doctors who still remain in the region … to move to the territory of Russia,” Zelensky asserted.

“Russia is trying to make the Kherson region a ‘dead zone’,” the Ukrainian president said in a video message, arguing that pro-Russian forces have realized they cannot keep it under their control and are therefore grabbing what they can.

Kyiv has repeatedly accused the Russian invaders of widespread looting during their withdrawal from occupied Ukrainian territories.

Ukrainian President Zelensky doubts that Russia’s partial mobilization is complete

THE Volodymyr Zelensky expressed doubt that Russia’s partial mobilization was complete, as Moscow announced earlier today, with Ukraine’s president stressing that the poor performance of Russian forces means Russia may need more men.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said earlier today that the partial mobilization of 300,000 reservists to fight in Ukraine has been completed. In his meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Shoigu said 82,000 conscripts have already been sent to the war zone and 41,000 of them have already joined military units while another 218,000 are in training centers.

“We have reports that the enemy has completed its recruitment, as if there is no longer a need to send new waves of Russian citizens to the front. We feel very differently on the front lines,” Zelensky emphasized.

“Although Russia is trying to increase the pressure on our positions by using reservists, they are so poorly prepared and equipped, so brutally used by their administration, that it allows us to assume that very soon Russia may need a new wave of people to to send to war”, he added.
