During her stay in Turkey, Dr. Wallander will join the High Level Defense Group with Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense to discuss regional security and bilateral defense cooperation.

As the Pentagon’s announcement states, the American secretary of state “departed on November 5 for Turkey and Poland in order to conduct high-level defense consultations with these key NATO allies.”
During her stay in Turkey, Dr. Wallander will join the High Level Defense Group with Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense to discuss regional security and bilateral defense cooperation.
As for her program in Poland, she will join the High-Level Defense Group with the Polish Ministry of Defense to discuss support for Ukraine, defense procurement issues and European security.
Mrs Wallander will also visit US troops in Poland.
