Missile will travel at five times the speed of sound – Confirming Washington’s fears of Tehran’s long-range weapons development

The world has entered an inexorable rally of war preparations, a fact that could be interpreted in the most negative way for the future. The arms race has also joined the Irandespite the sanctions and embargo, confirming the fears of Washington, which insists and calls for stricter measures against him.

According to the general Amirali Hajizadehhead of the IRGC aerospace unit, Tehran has built a new hypersonic weapon system, which can bypass any anti-missile system in the world.

As the Iranian general stated, the new missile will develop a speed equal to five times the speed of sound and will not be able to be intercepted by known anti-missile systems.

International analysts speculate that the know-how for Iran’s hypersonic missile system came from Russia, which has developed a wide range of weapons in this direction.

As part of the competition, tests of ultrasonic weapons have also begun in the USA.

Also, the North Koreaworking with Moscow, paraded a new hypersonic weapon, but did not reveal more about its range or potential.

In Russia’s case, those weapons are its jet-launched Kinzhal missiles and Avangard “gliding vehicles,” which Moscow says are mounted on its new nukes Sarmatian. Russia has used Kinzhal missiles in Ukraine, but the glide vehicle technology has yet to be tested in combat.

“This hypersonic ballistic missile was developed to counter air defense shields”Hajizadeh said, according to Iran’s Fars news agency. “It will be able to breach all missile defense systems”the general said, adding that he believes it will take decades to develop a system capable of intercepting it. “This missile, which targets enemy anti-missile systems, represents a major generational leap in the field of missiles”he added.
