There are other graffiti in the area, which are attributed to the famous artist, but he has not identified them

A building demolished by Russian bombing in Borodyanka which is a symbol of Ukrainian resistance, is now adorned with the work of famous graffiti artist Banksy, who traveled to the troubled region.

THE Banksy posted a photo on Instagram of the artwork, a female athlete doing a handstand amid debris, in Borodyanka.

Murals spotted in and around the Ukrainian capital Kyiv had led to speculation that the anonymous artist was working in the war-torn country, but he himself confirmed the work in Borodyanka and so far nothing more.

The graffiti artist posted three images of the gymnast’s mural in the debris left by Russian bombing, with a caption that simply reads “Borodianka, Ukraine.”

A second piece at Borodyanka, which has not been confirmed by Banksy, depicts a man resembling Vladimir Putin flipping over during a judo match with a young boy. The Russian president is a judo black belt and martial art fan.
