For seven and a half minutes, the Polish president thought he was on the phone with French President Emmanuel Macron
The two Russian pranksters, Vovan and Lexus once again targeted the Polish president, Andriy Duda, on the night that the Ukrainian missile fell in Poland and he was in talks with NATO leaders.
For seven and a half minutes, the Polish president thought he was on the phone with the French president, Emmanuel Macron.
The call was posted online by Russian comedians where the Polish president can be heard speaking in English to the caller.
“Emmanuel, believe me, I’m being extra careful,” Duda can be heard telling the caller. “I don’t want to have a war with Russia and believe me, I’m very careful, very careful,” he adds.
Duda then clarified that he was very worried by the bombing of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
When the Polish president, after seven and a half minutes of talking with the pranksters, realized that it was a prank, he hung up the phone with his office, saying on Twitter:
“Following the rocket explosion in PrzemyÅ›l, a person claiming to be French President Emmanuel Macron was contacted during ongoing talks with heads of state and government. During the call, President Andrey Duda realized from the unusual way the conversation was being conducted that a prank might have been attempted and ended the conversation.”
These pranksters have already tricked the President of Poland in July 2020, calling him on behalf of the UN Secretary General and congratulating him on his election victory.
