Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu once again launched an attack against the US and its allies from Bucharest, where the NATO Foreign Ministers are meeting, accusing them of supporting terrorist organizations.
According to SKAI’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, when Mevlut Cavusoglu was asked about the military operation in Syria, he replied:
“The US and some allies are clearly supporting terrorist organizations. I say that they should stop this support,” he said characteristically.
Regarding Sweden’s NATO membership, Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that “Sweden’s new government is more determined (in the fight against terrorism) and we welcome the steps they are taking.” However, he emphasized “that we did not see concrete steps. There have been positive steps, but we want to see them in the implementation of the new laws in the new year” he concluded.
