In first place this year is the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

According to Forbes magazine’s established annual list, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is the seventh most powerful woman in the world.

Like every year, the list of the most powerful women in the world was presented yesterday Tuesday, in which Meloni is the only Italian.

In first place this year is the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

In more detail, Forbes underlines that “in 2022, new political leaders took power, including the first prime minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni.”

“As the head of Italy’s most right-wing government from the end of World War II to the present, Meloni is a controversial figure whose political future remains uncertain. Nevertheless, her success is an important achievement for the leadership role of women, because she is the only woman who heads a G20 member country”, we read in Forbes’ report on the president of the “Brothers of Italy”.
