Negotiators of the committees responsible for the armed forces and military spending reached an agreement on Tuesday on the bill that covers defense policy and military spending in 2023.
“We are pleased to announce that we have reached a bipartisan, bicameral agreement” on this law (National Defense Authorization Act), said the chairmen of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees, which include Democrats, and their prominent officials who belong to the Republicans, in their joint statement.
