Fierce clashes and hand-to-hand fights took place in the streets of Montpellier between fans of France and Morocco after the match between the two teams ended.
A… bad loss followed after the completion of the France-Morocco semi-final (2-0) in the streets of Montpellier.
In particular, the fans of the two teams started hand-to-hand fights, launching dozens of flares, with the clashes escalating.
It is recalled that the French authorities had expressed their fears about this possibility, given the large number of Moroccan immigrants in French territory.
