The summit will take place on February 3, at an as yet unknown location
A summit meeting will be held by the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Volodymyr Zelensky on February 3 2023, as the representative of the European Union stated today Thursday, however, the location has not been determined.
“I am able to confirm that the summit meeting EU-Ukraine will take place on February 3 and there is an open invitation to the president Zelensky to visit Brussels,” said Barent Leitch, clarifying that the invitation to Volodymyr Zelensky does not mean that the summit will take place in Brussels.
European officials said the main topic of the summit will likely be “how” the European Union will continue to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. European leaders will also assess Ukraine’s progress on the integration of the Union.
