Most adults in Britain believe that it is possible that Boris Johnson will not be prime minister until the end of 2022, according to a poll published today by Ipsos Mori.
The growing popular outrage over revelations that government officials attended rallies and parties when Britain was under lockdown last year has cast doubt on Johnson’s power within his Conservative Party.
Six out of ten respondents believe that Johnson will not be the prime minister until the end of next year, according to the poll.
The British newspaper Guardian published a photo yesterday, Sunday, showing Johnson and more than 12 other people drinking wine in the garden of the prime minister’s residence on Downing Street, which, as he mentioned, was taken during a lockdown against COVID-19 in May of 2020.
At that time the government had told the citizens that they could only meet one person in a public place outside, two meters away.
