Erisha Ferro was arrested by the Korça police for drug trafficking. Fero is director of IT at the Albanian Information Service (AKSHI).
The arrest was made by the Prosecutor’s Office of Pogradec in cooperation with the Police Department of Kortsas. 58 kilos of narcotics were seized, which came from the Shkodra area.
“From the investigations carried out, it appears that the three citizens had carried out the transport of narcotics from the city of Tirana in the direction of Qafe Thana” announced today the police of Korça.
The police intervention took place in the Qafe Thana area. At the time of the operation, Erisha Ferro was arrested, who was driving the car where 58 kilograms of cannabis were found and confiscated as material evidence.
Likment Basha, the son of a businessman from Kruja, and a 17-year-old with the initials M.K. were riding in the car together with the director of AKSHI.
Two other people are wanted, FS, 30 years old and GS, 28 years old, residents of Pogradec, as they fled quickly when the police intervened. The target was to exchange drugs in the area of Qafe Thana, which was believed to be an area outside the police’s attention.
