Ah, celebrity romance.
This one, in this case, started with Waka Waka in the 2010 World Cup.
And it would have expired, eleven years and two children later, with a curious outcome that reminds me of the Goldilocks fable.
You know, the one that breaks into the bear family’s home in the woods.
— Who ate my porridge? — etc.

The Spanish press is rapacious like any other, and one of the themes of the moment is this: the unusual way in which Shakira allegedly discovered Piqué’s betrayal, from whom she recently separated after more than a decade of relationship.
Since the separation, made official in June 2022, the entire internet has been speculating about the reasons.
As soon as the Colombian singer — investigated for tax fraud in Spain — released, last April, the premonitory hit “Te Felicito”, everyone analyzed the lyrics and understood that she would have taken (at least) a horn from the former singer. Catalan player from Barça (by the way, recently retired (!) last November, aged 35):
“Te felicito / que bien actúas”
It doesn’t have to be a Roland Barthes, huh.
Back in December, the pink press spanish released a bombastic verdict: according to the program Socialité, on the popular channel Telecinco, Shakira would have deduced the betrayal because of a… strawberry jam.
The singer would have come across her favorite jam pot empty after a few days away.
Well, it looks like Piqué wasn’t a big fan of jam. Therefore…
In the music video for “Te Felicito”, at a certain point Shakira actually opens the fridge and finds the head of Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, with whom she sings the theme.
About this scene, on the British TV program “This Morning”, interviewer Alison Hammond asks: “you don’t open the fridge to get milk. What were you looking for? (in free translation)”
Shakira replies, with a mischievous smile:
— The truth.
Good. Just to wrap up the story, the supposedly famous jelly-eater and home-wrecker has a culinary-inspired name: Clara Chía, 23 years old, half of Shaki’s 45, and titled “influencer”.
((Hey, that Chía was 9 years old when Shakira released Waka Waka, xente. As voltas do universum))
The jelly’s story is juicy (aye, how glucinfamous we are today), but the Truth, as it always is, is more complex.
According to sources such as a certain paparazzo local who always accompanied the couple, Piqué would have been seen with at least “about 50 different women” throughout the relationship.
Etc.

Shakira’s new song, released last Wednesday (11), with the title “BZRP Music Session #53”, is an iteration of the litany of betrayal and, according to the press spanishwould complete the “triad” of the separation, along with “Te Felicito” and “Monotonia”, from October 2022.
In #53, Shakira sings:
“Yo solo hago music
Forgive me for splashing you
Me dejaste de vecina a la suegra
With the press at the door and the goddess at Hacienda
You believed you heroized me and you made me tougher
Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan”
Yes — betrayed, but with money in the bank: according to estimates, the trinity of lamentation would have yielded, so far, at least 21 million euros (116 million reais) just in reproductions of Spotify and Youtube added together. Incidentally, the premiere of “#53” hit the mark of 45 million plays in just one day. Nothing like a sweet drama to get the audience buzzing.
