Renner turned 52 in hospital
‘Avengers’ star Jeremy Renner has revealed he broke more than 30 bones in a snowplow accident on New Year’s Day that put him in hospital for more than two weeks.
Renner posted a photo on Instagram with a caption that read:
“Everything changed this new year… I want to thank you ALL for your messages and support for me and my family… Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 broken bones will mend, strengthen, as love with family and friends strengthens. Love and blessings to you all.”
Renner he turned 52 in the hospital. He was injured driving a snowplow while trying to clear a road near his home in Nevada.
He underwent two surgeries and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
On Monday night, the “Mayor of Kingstown” star took to Twitter, writing, “Out of my recovering brain fog, I’m so excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home.”
Renner was reportedly crushed by the vehicle he was driving and had severe difficulty breathing. The right side of his chest has “fallen”, while he is facing a serious problem in his upper body.
