According to reports, none of the passengers were in danger and there was no damage to the ship
A ship carrying 120 passengers from the island of Ponza to the city of Formia in Italy on Friday (20/1) encountered the bad weather prevailing in the area, “diving” into waves of 8 meters.
According to the Italian agency Ansa, the passenger’s journey, which normally takes just over an hour, was forced to travel for more than five hours with its passengers panicked throughout the journey.
In the following video, the ship can be seen literally being covered by 8 meter waves.
