What is the first pop-up airport coming to Britain

by

The world’s first pop-up airport is being built in Britain, where flying cars, including electric taxis and drones, will land.

The new airport, which will be built in Coventry, Britain, is essentially officially announcing the beginning of a new era of urban flying vehicles, which will have a zero carbon footprint.

The company that will build the airport intends to develop an additional 200 sites within the next five years, all of which will have zero emissions.

Their size is about 60% compared to an average helipad. In other words, they will be the smallest airports in the world, while they can be built and dismantled in a few days.

One of the companies involved in this project is Hyundai, which aims to launch flying taxis by 2028.

Flying vehicles, which will also be environmentally friendly, may circulate in urban areas within a few decades and especially in cities with very serious traffic problems. The relevant market can have a turnover of up to 500 billion dollars in the USA alone.

Researchers estimate that these vehicles could account for 4% of all domestic flights by 2050.
