The daily coronavirus cases confirmed in the United Kingdom have moved around 100,000 in the last three days, although daily figures are incomplete.
At least 113,628 cases were confirmed on Saturday, but in England alone at least 108,893 new infections were reported on Sunday in England and Wales, but not in Scotland and Northern Ireland. from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
According to public health authorities in Scotland, preliminary data for the last three days show record daily reports, namely, 8,252 cases on Saturday, 11,030 on Sunday and 10,562 on Monday.
It is therefore theoretically possible that within this three-day period the record of 122,186 cases on Friday for the whole of the United Kingdom has actually been broken again.
The deaths of coronavirus carriers that have been announced today reach 143, but even here the data is incomplete due to Christmas.
There has been no update of the data for the critical report of the Covid institutions, which until Wednesday numbered 8,240.
At the time of publication of the latest aggregate data for coronavirus cases, no new sub-data for the Omicron variant had been announced.
On the vaccination front, the number of third installments given is almost 32.5 million, which corresponds to 56.5% of the population of the United Kingdom aged 12 and over.
